About

One of the main reasons why people don’t attend events is because they don’t have anyone to go with. Meet-a-Mate aims to decrease this statistic by bringing together people with a similar interest, which provides them with the means to attend more events.

Sign up by uploading your information into the form under the “Sign Up” tab found in the side bar menu. Search a key word from the side bar such as the name, month, year, or location of an event and any related posts will come up. Click on the event you’re interested in and it will direct you to a page with a list of others interested in that event. From there you can click the “mail” icon of anyone you’d be interested in going with, and you can send them a direct message. You can also create your own post on any event page. Just click the “post” button at the bottom of an event page and enter your information, then it will be uploaded within the day. Others are then able to send message requests to you.

We have a blog accessible from the side bar with short articles about events, locations and more. You can find fun quizzes here too.

We’d love to hear about any feedback you have, via our Feedback page.
